Seville was our first stop on our two-week Andalusia road trip in mid-March 2024. We spent two full days here (three nights). While two days was enough to see the main sights, we absolutely loved Seville and wished we had longer. Four or five nights would allow you to explore more than just the highlights. Here is what we did during our 2 days (3 nights) in Seville:
Day 0: Arrival in Seville
Day 1: Plaza de Espana, Catedral de Sevilla, + Setas de Sevilla
Day 2: Royal Alcazar of Seville + Casco Antiguo
Day 3: Departure

Full Seville Itinerary
DAY 0 – Arrival in Seville
- Arrival in Seville – check in at your hotel.
- Our Hotel: Hotel Fernando III
- Explore your hotel’s neighbourhood
DAY 1 – Cathedral & Seville Highlights
- Plaza de España – morning visit to enjoy the architecture and gardens
- Catedral de Sevilla & Giralda – climb the tower for panoramic city views (book in advance)
- Triana – explore the neighbourhood and walk along the river
- Setas de Sevilla – enjoy sunset views from the top

DAY 2 – Royal Alcázar & Casco Antiguo
- Royal Alcázar of Seville – morning visit, timed tickets (book in advance)
- Casco Antiguo & Santa Cruz – stroll the old town streets and plazas, visit local shops, eat tapas
- Plaza de España (optional revisit) – highly suggest going back at night to see it all lit up!

DAY 3 – Departure
Today you will depart Seville! For us, this meant heading to Record Go near the Seville airport to pick up our rental car and continue on our Andalusian road trip!
